About Me

Hello, I am Kathy Duvall the practitioner at Calderdale Therapies. Welcome to my website ! I aim to provide a professional and caring reflexology or massage session for each client, based on individual assessment and evaluation. I have many years of healthcare experience first as a registered nurse and over the last 12 years as a holistic practitioner.

I have taken advanced training in reflexology and aromatherapy and have more recently added massage therapy to my repertoire. I have taken regular courses to expand my knowledge and skills and really enjoy my practice.

I am friendly and approachable and ready to help you to feel better every time. I have lived abroad for the past 14 years and my business was called Blue Chamomile during that time. Now I am based here in beautiful West Yorkshire and have renamed my business Calderdale Therapies to reflect my new home.

I have a husband and two grown up children, two naughty rescue dogs and two cats and live near to Ripponden. When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, seeing friends, gardening and creative hobbies.

I contacted Kathy and made a booking for a massage but also made her aware of his issues. She was super supportive and worked with the teenager to endure he was comfortable with the aromatherapy massage. I wasn’t sure it would work for him but anything that helps is worth a try (if you have a teenager neurodiverse or not you will understand)!!
